Spiritual retreats and seminars in the South of France
Les Tours Carrèes -The Square Towers - a retreat centre in the vineyard heart of the South of France. The retreat centre with a huge difference.
There's the delightful venue, a beautiful villa in the Larzac Plateau known as one of the most spiritual areas of Europe. So much so, it is the European home of Tibetan Buddhism and houses the largest Buddhist temple outside Asia. The temple, blessed by the Dalai Lama himself in 2008, sits within the hills a short distance, away and the extraordinary walled city of the Knights of the Templar, La Couvertoirade, closeby.
The venue
There's the beautiful bedrooms with soft Egyptian cotton linen, down pillows, and comfortable bathrooms. The full-size swimming pool is there exclusively for you to dip your toes or swim for hours. Two large roof terraces with reclining sun loungers over-look the beautiful scenery where, if you choose, you may sample some of the regions exotic fruits and fine wines.
Then there is the food. Local, fresh produce from the town market, deliciously prepared each day to enjoy at leisure in the warmth of the evening sun with a glass of chilled wine from local vineyards.
